Tribute and farewell to Prof. Ziegler by STUVA e.V. 

After more than two decades as Chairman of the Board of the Studiengesellschaft für Tunnel und Verkehrsanlagen (STUVA) e.V., Prof. Ziegler handed over this office to Dipl.-Ing. Tim Dahlmann-Resing, who had been newly elected by the General Assembly, at the conclusion of the STUVA Conference on 27 November 2025.

Prof. Ziegler was appointed an honorary member of the Executive Board of STUVA e.V., an honour that has been bestowed only twice in the 65-year history of the association. During the symbolic handover of the baton to Mr. Dahlmann-Resing, he expressed his sincere gratitude on behalf of STUVA e.V. to Prof. Ziegler for his many years of dedicated service, during which Prof. Ziegler played a leading role in shaping and developing the organisation since 2003.

The handover concluded with a standing ovation in recognition of Prof. Ziegler’s many years of outstanding commitment.
